Freehand Chicago

The Freehand Chicago is perfect for a weekend in the city whether you are a visitor to the city or looking for the perfect staycation. The hotel staff is as hospitable as can be, and each and every space of the hotel is designed intentionally. It’s a perfect blend of mid century modern style with a touch of minimal with a dash of hipster. The rooms are each designed with both complete functionality and attention to detail. The Broken Shaker is perfect moody atmosphere for grabbing a few cocktails (their punch is unreal) and the lobby speaks for itself. I can’t wait to come back for another visit and would highly recommend the Freehand to anyone.

I’ve always been a font geek, and one day I was wandering around River North and found the beautiful lettering “Freehand”. I’ve hung out with friends on multiple occasions at the Broken Shaker. I was excited to be introduced to the team at the Freehand where they hosted the most lovely staycation for me. Upon arrival, the team surprised me with the penthouse overlooking the city with views of the Hancock and stunning holiday lights lining the streets. I can’t wait to not only visit Freehand Chicago again, but to visit the other Freehand locations throughout the United States.
